The Beaujolais and Beaujolais Villages are fruit,
quaffable and convivial. The Brouilly is rich in colour,
structured and full-bodied whilst the Côte de Brouilly
is stylish, purple-hued and exudes aromas of fresh grapes and
iris. The Morgon boasts a deep garnet hue and aromas of
ripe stone fruits : cherry-peach, apricot and plum. The Régnié
is supple and well-structured, cherry-coloured with hints of
violet, and exudes aromas of red currant, blackberry and raspberry.
The Chiroubles is feminine and distinguished in style,
bright red in colour and its aroma is a bend of peony, lily of
the valley and violet. The velvetiness, elegance and both fruity
and floral aromas of the Fleurie seduce the senses. The
Juliénas is vigorous and has a bouquet redolent
of peach, red fruits and floral aromas. The Moulin à
Vent reflects the colour of the iris and the rose, and exudes
fragrances of spices and ripe fruits. The Chénas
is full-flavoured, soft on the palate, with floral and woody
aromas. And the White Beaujolais is delicate and distinguished,
bearing aromas of almonds. The white Mâcon Villages
is easy, fat and soft with a bouquet mingling acacia with hawthorne.
The red Côtes du Rhône are robustly structured
with dominant tones of red fruits, vanilla and hints of woods.
The white Côtes du Rhône boast aromas of broom
and apricot and are warm and rich. The red Coteaux du Lyonnais
are fruity, quaffable and thirst-quenching. The white, which
is drawn from Chardonnay, consequently exudes all the class and
distinction inherent to this grape variety. |
